Public Health, Minor
Students may develop a specialization in Public Health through earning a Minor in Public Health by completing a set of five specific upper division courses. The minor is available to students working towards a bachelor degree at Washburn University.
Admission Requirements
Interested students must apply for admission to the minor program with a Bachelor of Health Science advisor.
The requirements for acceptance into the minor program are a junior standing, a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on 4.0 scale and a minimum of 2.25 Washburn GPA. Students are required to have completed MA 112 Contemporary College Mathematics / MA 116 College Algebra University Math requirement with a “C” or higher grade.
