Washburn University Student Health Services exists to enhance the learning and development of University students (and staff/faculty), through provision of holistic health care, with a strong emphasis on education, prevention, affordability and patient advocacy.  Immunizations, TB testing and urgent care are provided for students, faculty and staff. Additional primary care services include health promotion/ education, treatment of stable chronic conditions, physical exams, well woman exams, psychological care in collaboration with Counseling Services, and referrals to community resources if necessary. All clinic services are confidential, and provided at low cost to no cost by our nurse practitioner providers. For more information, please visit Student Health Services website. A low cost health insurance program is available to all students registered for at least 5 credit hours. Counseling Services

College life can be very stressful. At times, students may want additional support to help manage stress and maximize success. Counseling is a place to explore any area of life that a student may be concerned about or wish to improve. For instance, if a student is feeling depressed, anxious, or distracted, counseling may be helpful. Advocacy and case management are available through Counseling Services as well.
